  4.                      New Features of REMIND version 4.6:

  7.          This version is essentially the same as version 4.5 except that I
  8.          have corrected some potential bugs within both REMIND.EXE and
  9.          ENTERDAY.EXE.
  10.  
  11.          With this version, the editor function of ENTERDAY still has a
  12.          400-line limit but at least now if you have more than 400 lines
  13.          within REMIND.DTA and if you try to load it into the editor,
  14.          the program will not abort as did the previous versions. It
  15.          will simply display a warning sign while returning you to the
  16.          main menu.

  18.          In addition, with this version, REMIND.EXE is now insensitive
  19.          to entry errors within REMIND.DTA.  Entry errors within
  20.          REMIND.DTA can only happen if you use an outside ASCII editor
  21.          to edit the entries (if you use the built-in editor to edit the
  22.          file, this will never happen.)  Each entry must be in the
  23.          following format in order for REMIND.EXE to be able to read it:

  25.                <B or *> <month> <day> <reminder text>
  26.  
  27.          where B signifies a birthday and * signifies a non-birthday
  28.          and <month> and <day> are numbers separated by a space.
  29.  
  30.          With the previous versions, if a line that you have entered
  31.          using an ASCII editor does not conform exactly to the above
  32.          format, REMIND.EXE will not be able to recognize it when it
  33.          reads to that line. The program will then abort every time it
  34.          reads up to that line.

  36.          With this newer version, REMIND.EXE is now insensitive to
  37.          "garbage lines" within REMIND.DTA.  It will simply skip over
  38.          any entry that was erroneously entered, preventing an aborted
  39.          program.

  42.          day comes.
